Word has it that Casey was able to spend a little time with family (his aunt Sherry) before the show and, according to a tweet from his mom, mass amounts of banana nut bread were consumed.
Review: Casey at #3 brought the heat and a slew of guitars, electric and acoustic. He lit up the stage on “I Got Mine” playing off of the Idol band’s guitarist, Tim Stewart. It is safe to say that there has not been another Idol who can play a guitar like Casey. “Don’t” by Shania Twain, was my favorite on the show and on the Tour, although the duet with Mike on “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman” by Bryan Adams, was swoon worthy. His set ended with the Rolling Stones’ “It’s All Over Now,” a performance that felt like a real rock concert from back in the day.

We haven't checked in with tweeters from the venue for a while, so let's see what they have to say.
The first tweet I saw came from RoveBeatty:
"bed after a great rock night. Casey James better get a rock deal somewhere bc he is so a young bret Michaels. Damn love that guitar." Could not agree more, RB.
There was another tweeter tonight (ddwils) so excited to see Casey she had her boyfriend tweet for her during his set. That guy is a keeper! So here's the view from her boyfriend:
"ddwils: Casey on now Crowd screaming . All hearing momentarily lost
ddwils: Casey has assumed control. Dee Dee unavailable for the time being
ddwils: Slowing it down for second song. Crowd sways appreciatively."
And, look, i found one tweeter with my sense of humor:
jeanettemcc: @CaseyEJames welcome to Hotlanta! You got everyone on their feet! Thanks!!!
